I can’t believe I finally got my hands on the LEGO Star Wars A New Hope Boarding The Tantive IV Fantasy Toy! As a die-hard Star Wars fan, this was a must-have for me. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint!
First of all, the attention to detail in this set is incredible. The minifigures of Darth Vader, Stormtroopers, Rebel Fleet Troopers, and Captain Antilles are spot on and even come with cool accessories. But the cherry on top was definitely the exclusive 25th Anniversary Minifigure Clone Trooper Fives. He looks amazing displayed next to the rest of my LEGO Star Wars collection.
The play features in this set are also so much fun. I love flicking the levers to “blast” open the entrance door and toppling over minifigures during battle play. It’s like being in my own mini Star Wars movie! And if you’re like me and always want more, you can connect it with another 75387 set (sold separately) to extend the corridor.
I couldn’t resist getting this as a gift for my friend Tim’s son who just turned 8. He’s already a huge Star Wars fan and this set was perfect for him. When I saw that LEGO had released a Tantive IV buildable playset, I knew I had to add it to my collection. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint! The iconic Boarding the Tantive IV scene from Star Wars A New Hope is one of my favorites and now I can recreate it whenever I want.
The 7 included minifigures are so well-designed and really capture the essence of each character. But what really stood out for me was the 25th anniversary Clone Trooper Fives minifigure with a display stand.
